When space is extremely tight or crane access is restricted, alternative lifting systems become crucial. Jacking systems, including those developed by WB Equipment, provide an effective solution for raising bridges and modules. Strandjacks, which use hydraulic cylinders and steel wires, are particularly suited for confined spaces, capable of lifting or skidding heavy loads ranging from 15 tons to 1,130 tons. WB Equipment integrates strandjacks with gantries for civil construction and power plant projects, while skidding beams are used to transfer offshore platforms onto barges. Jacking serves as a vital application in construction, addressing challenges in both new and existing structures.
